A brand new website
In.sek is a Brooklyn-based design, sculpture, and architectural studio. They create custom spaces, furniture, and objects that aim to challenge our current disposable and wasteful culture. The development and redesign of their website reflects their commitment to this mission and showcases their projects (such as Etsy NY headquarters) as well as the furniture and objects they create at their studio.

Designing for designers
In.sek’s site redesign brings their signature colors, building techniques, and holistic design methodology from the physical space into the digital space. As part of this project, I oversaw the UX strategy, art direction, and web design, as well as the development of the CMS website and shopping platform.
CONVERSION
A New Online Shop
The shop’s landing page showcases the range of In.sek’s design products and features their bestsellers. The category pages include a lightbox with quick-view features while the product detail pages allow for share, shop, and related product functionality.

DESIGN, E-COMMERCE AND OUTREACH
The site’s UX Strategy incorporates three user paths: prospective clients for architectural projects and installations, e-commerce and conversion in the online shop, and user engagement with the news section of articles and publications.
